RESOURCES / CONCRETE HUB
Concrete Hub
The iMasons Climate Accord (iCA) Concrete Resources Hub provides standardized tools and guidance to help the digital infrastructure industry specify, measure, and scale lower-carbon concrete.
These resources establish a more consistent approach to procurement, carbon targets, and reporting, helping improve transparency and accountability while supporting the adoption of lower-carbon materials across the industry.
OUR FOUNDATIONS
The Concrete Resources Hub builds directly on foundational work established by the iCA Governing Body and Materials Working Group.

Toolkit for Low-Carbon Concrete Procurement
Concrete is a significant contributor to the embodied carbon of data center construction. While low-carbon mixes are increasingly viable, inconsistent specification language can create supplier confusion, increased costs, and complicate bid evaluations.
Low Embodied Carbon Concrete Specification: North America
Designed to integrate into master project specifications, this tool enables project teams to set Global Warming Potential (GWP) targets tailored to regional mix availability and project goals. Global adaptations will be included in future releases.
Concrete Mix Benchmarking Calculator
Developed to support benchmarking, this tool allows teams to calculate project-wide Global Warming Potential (GWP) using a weighted-average approach. Results are benchmarked against U.S. National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA) regional industry baselines.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU
Data Center Owners & Hyperscalers
Apply the iCA Div 01 & 03 template specification into master construction specifications for all upcoming projects.
Structural Engineers & General Contractors
Incorporate the Concrete Mix Benchmarking Calculator during the concrete submittal review phase to measure compliance.
Ready-Mix Concrete Suppliers
Publish verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) in open online databases to ensure accurate carbon accounting.
INDUSTRY RESOURCES
Explore tools and resources contributed by iCA Member Companies to support lower-carbon concrete procurement. Members and industry stakeholders are encouraged to contribute additional resources and share feedback.
BOxCrete by Meta
This tool predicts concrete compressive strength using a Gaussian Process model trained on laboratory mortar and concrete specimens. Predictions reflect controlled lab conditions and may differ from field performance due to batching variability, curing environment, and aggregate properties.
