Maturity Model
Whether it be for Power, Materials, or Equipment, our Working Groups strive to develop a way to evaluate and communicate progress toward decarbonization.
In collaboration with the iMasons Sustainability Committee, we push for an industry-wide adoption of an open standard to create a common maturity model to report progress.
Across all Working Groups, deliverables and deadlines are established in consultation with the Governing Body.
REGIONAL CONSORTIUMS
The iMasons Climate Accord has been inconsistent in serving all the regions within our membership network and as a result, our newly formed Regional Consortiums represent a more robust effort to strengthen engagement across our global community. Vetted by the iCA’s Executive Director and Governing Body, these groups of 12-15 SMEs meet on a quarterly basis to discuss offline work, sync on upcoming webinars and conferences, and review relevant areas of innovation, regulation, etc. to their region.
The intent of these groups in 2026:
- In their first year, the Consortiums are tasked with three deliverables are tasked for delivery
- Review the iCA Maturity Model for regional criteria
- Develop one webinar for the iCA Summer Series
- Outline a publication relevant for the region: case study, white paper, etc.
The Regional Consortium groups, representing EMEA, MENA, APAC, and LATAM, primarily work offline, reviewing iCA’s publications to-date, work in development, and other relevant opportunities to decarbonization efforts. This will also include showcasing exciting projects from their specific regions, local policy and/or regulatory changes, development of educational sessions and/or case studies, cross-publication of key industry work, and/or alignment with committees/associations with similar focus.
The iCA Governing Body and/or Working Groups may call upon these groups for assistance for peer review, insights, expertise in their current work plans.
The consortiums handle anything else the group deems important and critical.
