Jessup, Maryland – Tate® Inc., a market leader in the manufacturing of raised access floors and data center airflow and infrastructure management solutions, announces its participation as a Foundation Partner of Infrastructure Masons and joins the organization’s Climate Accord to promote sustainability in the data center industry.
Infrastructure Masons (iMasons) was established to provide infrastructure executives and technical professionals an independent forum to connect, grow, and give back. As a Foundation Partner, Tate is making a commitment to dedicate time and resources to the organization’s educational, networking, and industry initiatives.
The iMasons Climate Accord (ICA) is a historic cooperative of companies committed to reducing carbon in digital infrastructure materials, products, and power.
“We established iMasons to unite the builders of the digital age,” said Dean Nelson, Chairman and Founder of Infrastructure Masons. “The ICA represents an unprecedented collaboration between leading digital infrastructure companies to accelerate our journey to carbon neutrality. Today, we are combining forces to compound the efforts of these firms to make meaningful and sustained progress toward that goal.”
Additionally, Tate’s General Manager, Daniel Kennedy, has joined the iMasons Advisory Council to support and provide guidance to the organization. The Advisory Council includes a combination of End Users who are responsible for some of the largest and most progressive infrastructure portfolios in the world and Partners who provide a complete view of the industry, with the goal to foster effective collaboration between Partners and End Users.
“Tate is excited to partner with an organization whose values so closely mirror our own. Our commitment to sustainability includes goals and actions for continuous improvement in the areas of our environment, customers, community, and company, which is highlighted by our internal Planet Passionate initiative,” said General Manager Daniel Kennedy. “These key strategies align with the iMasons Climate Accord commitments, which are so important in the data center industry.”
