DCD> Toward Net-Zero | NAM: Accelerate Net-Zero Goals With Supplier Commitments to Decarbonize

iMason’s Climate Accord Governing Body Members have signed an open letter urging adoption of Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) from the data center supplier industry amid prolific growth of AI in digital infrastructure. The letter is a proactive action taken by leaders in the industry ahead of imminent regulatory requirements, to accelerate ambitions to reach net-zero by urging supplier partners to provide clear and actionable data for Scope 3 reporting.

The panel will discuss:

  • Insights into the current state of climate-related regulations and what’s expected to come in the US.
  • Why the urgency to act now is vital to getting ahead of the sustainability challenges that higher density AI workloads exacerbate.
  • How EPDs improve scope 3 embodied carbon accounting.
  • How supply chain partners can collaborate on an industry-wide decarbonization initiative
