Ultra Safe Nuclear (USNC) is a vertically integrated New Energy company, encompassing technology development, product design and manufacturing, project execution and power plant operations.
USNC Foundational Technology is the Fully Ceramic Micro-encapsulation (FCM) of nuclear fuel. Combined with proprietary additive manufacturing processes, the technology enables the manufacture of ceramic reactor cores that are impossible to melt down.
The Micro Modular Reactor (MMR®) Unit is a simple high temperature reactor. Each unit delivers up to 50 MWth of high-quality carbon-free heat on demand with utmost safety and risk-free operation. Multiple MMR units can be coupled together to create MMR Energy Systems tailored to the exact needs of the off-taker, with simple upgrade paths. MMR Energy Systems are especially suited to hybrid systems with renewables, industrial heat applications, and all micro-grid and off-grid applications, to provide safe, affordable zero-carbon power.
